Content Policy
Last updated: February 21, 2026
Crafta empowers people to build apps with AI. With that power comes responsibility. This policy explains what is and is not allowed on the platform so creators and users can feel safe and confident.
Prohibited Content
The gist
Do not build anything harmful, illegal, deceptive, or that exploits others. Use common sense.
Apps created on Crafta must not contain or facilitate:
Illegal activities, including fraud, money laundering, or drug trafficking
Content that sexually exploits or endangers minors
Harassment, hate speech, or content targeting individuals or groups
Malware, phishing, or any form of security exploit
Unauthorized collection or sale of personal data
Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights
Deceptive apps that impersonate other services or people
Spam, scam, or misleading content designed to manipulate users
Promotion of violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
Allowed Content
The gist
Build useful, creative, and honest apps. Crafta is for everyone who wants to create something that helps people.
We encourage apps that are:
Useful tools, utilities, calculators, and productivity apps
Creative and entertainment apps including games, art tools, and storytelling
Educational and informational content
Business tools, CRMs, inventory managers, and workflow apps
Community and social apps that foster positive interaction
Personal projects, experiments, and prototypes
Review Process
The gist
Published apps are reviewed by automated scanning and, when needed, by human reviewers.
Every app published to the Crafta gallery goes through automated security and content scanning before it becomes publicly available. This includes checks for prohibited content, security vulnerabilities, and code quality.
Apps that are flagged by automated systems are queued for human review. We aim to complete reviews within 24 hours. During review, the app remains accessible to its creator but is not listed in the public gallery.
Violations and Appeals
The gist
We enforce fairly. If we get it wrong, you can appeal.
When a policy violation is identified, we may take one or more of the following actions:
Issue a warning and request that the content be corrected
Unpublish the app from the gallery
Suspend creation privileges temporarily
Terminate the account for serious or repeated violations
If you believe an action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@crafta.app with your account details and a description of why you believe the decision was incorrect. We respond to all appeals within 7 business days.
Reporting
The gist
See something that should not be here? Let us know.
If you encounter an app or content on Crafta that you believe violates this policy, please report it:
Use the "Report" button on any app in the gallery
Email report@crafta.app with the app URL and a description of the issue
All reports are reviewed confidentially. We do not share the identity of reporters with the app creator.
